I didnt get to watch much at all, the Aldo/Faber fight was last night, so I just checked the score throughout.

Why did he only attempt like ten shots? That does seem odd, was he trying to get his teammates involved after a porous performance by them in Game 3 or was he just not able to get his offense going?

He kept dishing the ball off. He didnt even attempt a shot in the first I dont believe. and only took 1 3 and then a couple of drives to the basket just before halftime. He didn't play at all in the 4th. He stood out top mainly and was dishing in to Gasol and Bynum. Last night Bynum was their best shot at winning. OKC didn't have an answer for him underneath in the first half, but it got out of control so quick in the second half that LAL just quit basically.

    Re: NBA Playoffs...

SA wins another great game, 92-89, to go up 3-1. George Hill was just excellent tonight, 29 points and 5 made 3 pointers, while no other Spurs made a 3 ball. Who woulda thought a kid from IUPUI known for his defense would lead the Spurs in scoring while TD can only manage 6 points and 1 made FG.

Game 5 in Dallas, SAS is far from out of the woods yet, gotta finish them off.

WHo woulda thought that in the West, the Spurs would be up 3-1 on Dallas while the Lakers are 2-2 with OKC??

And who all was on here after Game 1 writing SA off, no way the Spurs could beat Dallas right ID?

People put too much stock into 1 game in a 7 game series. You wouldn't find me counting out a Pop coached team till the very end.

    Re: NBA Playoffs...

Thank you, I thought the Spurs have earned that, especially with all the playoff wars and such.

And Eduardo Najera is flat out dirty. He has pulled some shady stuff in the first 3 games, but tonight takes teh cake. He could have really hurt Manu.

Hell the NFL has outlawed horse collar tackles, and that is exactly what Najera did.

One game doesnt mean much, especially Game 1.

But tonight's game was HUGE, even moreso for Dallas. Losing tonight puts them behind the proverbial 8-ball, having to win 3 straight games, 1 in San Antonio.

The Najera play was dirty, but Blair had two just as bad, making some real ***** moves out there.

    Re: NBA Playoffs...

Suns won by 19 again, hopefully will wrap it up in Portland. Really stupid move bringing Roy back, understand it fired everyone up in game 4, but that can't be matched and sure wasn't going to do anything in PHX. They might **** their self for next season and more importantly his career.

Surprised the Bucks have evened it up with Atlanta, looks like it will go to 7, but the Hawks should take it just based on home-court advantage.

Orlando wrapped it up last night with a sweep, but they should be worried with Howards poor play and foul trouble, better straighten it out...they can get by with it against Charlotte, but not a Hawks team or esp not a Cavs team.

Expecting Boston to wrap up that series tonight, it's on NBAtv at 7, but Wade may carry them on to see another game.

Also expecting the Cavs to wrap up their series tonight, on at 8 on TNT.

Spurs and Mavs in a big game at 9:30 on NBAtv, expect the Mavs to win this, but I also expected them to dominate this series but they've been awful.

And the game I'm looking forward to the most, OKC and LA at 10:30 on TNT, I expect the Lakers to win this...but if by some chance they don't, it's over, don't see it being close in OKC in a game 6.

    You're nuts.

Blair may have been playing physical, but he never slung anyone down by their neck.

    Re: NBA Playoffs...

I'd credit San Antonio's resurgence in the half court defense for Dallas' troubles.

Dallas has had 5 shot clock violations in two games, it looks like the old Spurs, shutting down teams in the half court.

In a half court game, SAS can beat Dallas. If Dallas gets out and runs and scores 100, its very hard for SAS to win.

Elbowing Dirk in the face and the flagrant foul is equally as dirty.
